Looks like value, Vitesse has a lot better team than NEC. But keep in mind that they are missing Bony.

Come on, peace of cake!
AJAX are missing Alderweireld, Kolbeinn Sigthórsson, Nicolai Boilesen, André Ooijer, Siem de Jong, Dmitry Bulykin and Derk Boerrigter. And with the ban of El Hamsteak, they have a tiny Uruguyuan midfielder up front. Offcourse Real Madrid will play with their B-squad, but they still will crush AJAX.

Weak (on European level that is) should be no problem for a Serie A club. Period. But since this is an away game, still will go for a handicap DNB.

Excelsior is struggeling this year. They had all the players that were above standard taken away by the parent team of Feyenoord. And with Bovenberg naar Utrecht, they lost the last player who really has the potential of becoming someone who can be an asset to any team in the top Dutch league. With 1 point they are the no.1 candidate for a trip to the 2nd league. Their only advantage is the "plastic pitch".
Vitesse has been given a real quality-injection by the owner, and they will probably end somewhere just below the top 5. They have a lot of good players, and this should be nothing more but a walkover. Keeping in mind the odd (>1.80 at BF), this seems a good bet. 9/10.

Pick: 1 (Halftime) Result: Stake: 5/10 Odds: 2.10

With none real picks this weekend, I was suprised by the 2.10 offered on the half time. Even the 1.6 something looks nice for Feyenoord. They have finally found the way up, altought nothing offcourse can be said when only in round 4. I have chosen the half time on Feyenoord because of the weakness of the defense of Heerenveen as shown last weekend against Twente. It was miserable. They have a great offense, but the might strugle against a full Kuip and I hope for Cabral and Fer to make one before the whistle of halftime. With 2.1 it's value, but not an obvious banker. So 5 units.

Normally I would have bet against Vitesse untill the very end of august. With a team that is still is desperate need of new signings, they look the one to stay away from.
They miss: Pedersen, Van Diermen, Snijders, Ibarra, Velthuizen, Room, Alex and Anderson.
But still the game against VVV was a good one, and they actually seem to have a good and decent team already. They bought a couple of good players this summer and during the winter transfer period (Bony!). So against a FC Utrecht who are in a similar situation with a small selection they should be the easy winners. FC Utrecht resorted to a 42 old goalie because they lost three keepers. With a team that depleated of players (Vorm, Martens, Strootman, Silberbauer, van Wolfswinkel) and with a couple of players injured this should be a easy win. Also keeping in mind the last two games and the pre-season friendlies.
A 10-er for me.

Pick: Groningen Result: 4-2 Stake: 7/10 Odds: 1.70

With some much going on with ADO Den Haag these days and no real striker, there should be no real problem for Groningen to win at "the Green Cathedral". Groningen was unlucky at Roda JC to lose last week, while ADO Den Haag had a boring 0-0 game against a Vitesse which had only 13 selectionplayers.
Medium to High Stakes.

Pick: Gent Result: 1-0 Stake: 5/10 Odds: 5.50

I don't get these odds. I mean, Feyenoord is currently very weak, hell they even lost to Excelsior. When AA Gent puts the pressure on the Feyenoord squad there could be a suprise. Mario Been will probably stick to the same squad as last weekend, with only young Martins Indi instead of Bahia. They don't have a real target man, and this will make it hard to score.
Well medium stakes on such a high odd could make a nice thursday.

Pick: Nijmegen Result: Not registered Stake: 4/10 Odds: 2.25

Excelsior has been named by alot of people (aswell as by me) as the most likely to not make it this season. They had a nice victory in the derby against Feyenoord. Still the actual team hasn't changed a bit. Like the last pick which was against Excelsior I think that they are a very poor team. NEC Nijmegen on the other hand has been very sharp during the transfer period. Chatelle has been loaned from Anderlecht to get the assists to Vleminckx, and offcourse Leroy George who I saw make his debut in proffesional football and was one of my favorite players. NEC has been in great form, the only think that is keeping me from a 10/10 bet is the fact that Excelsior has the advantage of a artificial turf field.
I will take 8/10, and tip Vlemickx to score 1 or 2.

accidently took 4 instead of 8. We will see if this has been a lucky mistake =)

Pick: Utrecht Result: 2-0 Stake: 4/10 Odds: 5.09

Offcourse picking a odd above the 4.00 mark is always a gamble, but I really think that Utrecht can be able to leave Celtic Park shocked and silent. Celtic's form has been poor, with the recent matches againt Braga in account.
Utrecht has real quality, Mertens is going to be one of the players who will became the one of the biggest stars of the Belgian football future. Van Wolfswinkel and Vorm, the two dutch internationals. And don't forget Asare, Mulenga and Silberbauer.
5.00 is value, 4 units.

Pick: PSV Eindhoven Result: Not registered Stake: 8/10 Odds: 1.75
Bookmaker: Interwetten vCash: No

Come on, apart from the distance PSV had to travel and the fact that they left Affelay, Salcido and Dzsudzsák home, this seems like a no-brainer. PSV has a nice competionstart where the opponent is no. last of the competion. Offcourse we have to keep in account that the Russian competion is already underway for a while.
But 1.75 seems like a win. Larger stakes for me.
